What's up everybody? It's been awhile since our last post. But that does not mean we have been taking time off! The past 3 months have been the busiest we have ever been. Its been constant grind from our end while getting ready for
Spring 09. We are at a turning point right now with our brand and perspective on things so we figured we have a fresh start here.
So basically, we felt that production and motivation was absent from our company. We would release shirt after shirt, but we sat back and expected something to happen. But recently our attitude has completely taken a 180 and we have never been more focused on what we are doing. Me and Dave have decided that if we want this to work, we have to put in work, haha. Not saying we didn't before, but it was far from enough. We are in the stages of finally identifying an identity for
Kings Ransom Clothing.
As far as clothing, we are finishing up developing our line for the
Spring 09 season. We have a couple cut & sew pieces in production that will be in our hands very soon. This obviously is exciting because we have our vision being brought to life. The pieces are long sleeve button-ups... a nice clean design for both with new custom tags and our logo embroidered on the back. Each also has 2 vertical straps on each shoulder, distinguishing these pieces from others. The colorways are awesome... not much more I can say about them. So stay tuned for those! We also have a couple tees we will be releasing with the button-ups as well, so we will finally have a line lined up.
The website has been down for some time now, but we are in the final stages of the redesign of
kingsransomclothing.com. Also, we are working on our look book and the digital version of the look book. And just recently, we sponsored our dudes
Smoke Screen's new mixtape, entitled
Punch-Drunk Melodies.
Mooke and
Street Chemist are 2 cool ass, down to earth dudes that are always putting in work, so we met up with them one day and decided to collab on the mixtape and do some other promotional work together as well. You can download the mixtape here for free:
