Ooh Mama!

If someone were to ask me "Hey Paul, what's your favorite TV show?" Without hesitation I'd say Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! A couple years back I took a class at Kent entitled "Cartoon Network: Adult Swim." Yes, that is a real class, haha. And probably one of the most interesting classes I ever had. At the time, or still is, was/is the only class of it's kind in the country. I could go on about the show or talk about my favorites skits or explain how during every day I use a Tim & Eric reference at least once.... but I won't. All you need to know is Spagett is the shit and I have his poster, the "Chubs" song is a fan favorite of mine, David Liebe Hart is a beast, Richard Dunn gets it done (that's lame haha), and I will see them live before I die.
This past weekend after the Showcase... me, Mooke, and Neil went to my brother's place and finished up the drunken night with Tim & Eric season 2 and we could not stop watching the "Ooh Mama!" skit. Completely insane! Here it is:

That is good tennis!

Local Brand Showcase @ Heart & Sole 3/28/09

Last night was the Local Brand Showcase at Heart & Sole down on Coventry, and you already know Kings Ransom was in attendance. Along with Blessed Label, Another Enemy, Boosters, Since 88 and all the other locals that stopped through with their lines, we set up shop to give a good look at our products that we have available as of now. The turnout was great, the music was great (shout out to Steph Floss), and the other brands were tight and showed nothing but love and respect. Big ups to the homies at Heart & Sole for throwing the event and bringing all the lines together in one place! We gave out a ton of free KR tees to those in attendance, which went over real good. Also, thanks go out to Neil, C.J., Nick, Backo and everyone else that came down to help and support us!
There were so many people taking pictures and video down there that it's going to take a little to gather them all up. So for the time being, I got for you Steph Floss's Vlog Day 14 from eighty81.com, which shows off the event. Soon as we get the pictures from the night, we'll post em.

Where the Wild Things Are - OFFICIAL TRAILER

I seen a preview for this not too long ago... just a snippet... and was more excited for this movie than I have been for any other movie in awhile. I'm sure everyone has read, seen, or heard about this book at one point in their life and now it's finally time for the movie. It looks incredible! Plus, it's directed by Spike Jonze and produced by Tom Hanks! Take a look at the official trailer.

What do ya think??

Kid Cudi interview with Complex

Well in recent interview with Complex magazine, Kid Cudi sat down to discuss the thing that all Cudi fans want to hear about which is his recent claim that he is calling it quits and retiring after his first album drops. As a local Cleveland brand and a big fan of Cudi we hope things turn around for him and he continues with his career. For more info read this interview with Complex via Hypebeast.

Rising Hip-Hop sensation, Kid Cudi recently sat down with Complex’s Joe La Puma for an interesting interview, covering various curious subjects you’ve all been wondering about. Amongst their sit down session, Kid Cudi chats about his highly publicized incident during NBA All-Star Weekend, career expectations and a scoop into the upcoming album. The full interview can be read here.

Kid Cudi on his career expectations

My whole thing is to not to be as big as Kanye or Lil Wayne, but to be bigger. It’s all about progression. If I just set the goal to want to be like Kanye and Lil Wayne, that’s setting my shit to a limit and it’s selling myself short. I’m pretty sure when Kanye was aspiring to do his music, he wasn’t like, I want to be as big as Jay. He was like, Nah, I want to be bigger then Jay. It’s not necessarily saying that you are better than them, it’s just setting that bar. If I never am better then Kanye, in my brain, I’m always going to be trying to be, forever and ever until the day that I die.

…on Reebok situation

It was never about Reebok, the brand or anything like that. Nike don’t always make the dopest shoes, no brand makes dope shit all the time. I was opposed to the shoes they tried to give me—I didn’t like them. I didn’t get into because it was Reebok people, I got into it with one individual who approached me the wrong way. I’m a man at the end of the day. I’m not a fighter, I don’t like violence—hell, I don’t even know if I know how to fight. I’m not a strategic fighter, that’s not my steez. I don’t know how to work a gun if you gave me one, I wouldn’t want to fucking touch it. But at the same time, I ain’t no sucker and I was in a situation where a dude was trying to test me as a man. I let it get to me, but that will never happen again. A nigga want to test me? So what. I will never let anyone rub me the wrong way. It’s something I don’t regret at all. It was something I needed to do at that time. That dude was wrong. I reacted off of his reaction. He interfered in a conversation I was having with two other people. I wasn’t even the first one to put hands on him, my security Zule was. I tell people, he’s always close, he’s not even certified, he’s just a nigga from the hood.

…on New Album

Right now, the name of the album is Man On The Moon, The Guardians. It may change, depending on the features. Right now Snoop is down, he told me his oldest son put him on to my record. Snoop is my favorite artist of all time. He’s someone I look up to. I explained to him the idea of the song and he’s with it. I’m also trying to get Shia Labeouf in my project. I want the album to be as cinematic as possible, and feature people that are great at what they do. We’re both young talents in this game, and I just found out Shia was a fan of my song “Day N’ Night,” and I’m a fan of his. He’s killing shit, I feel like I’m doing the Shia Labeouf in music. We’re working on trying to get him to narrate the story of the album.

Kid Cudi un-retirement

Well many of you who follow Kid Cudi have heard the recent rumor about him wanting to retire because he's sick of the media bullshit and other personal things in his life. Which of course coming from Cleveland is disappointing to hear seeing that he's such a good representation of Cleveland and proof that you can make it if your from Cleveland or anywhere for that matter. This video will give Cudi fans some relief. This is taken from Dj Skee Tv....enjoy!
